Layered Circle workshop

Attended an all day workshop given by Karen Johnson on how to do a reverse applique technique with raw edges, on the machine. I learned a lot and had a fun time. Karen was a great teacher; prepared, clear instructions with lots of examples. The class was small so easy to get questions answered and we each had a big table to work on. As much as I hate carting around my machine and all the stuff  needed to sew, there is nothing like doing what you are being taught and getting instant feedback! Being around other fabric lovers is also very inspiring and uplifting . My project will be a table runner when it is done. I need to do the edgings yet. Off to Fabricana since I have nothing suitable in my stash. (Hard to believe!)
